Unter dem Titel Moving Water, Bodies & Souls präsentiert VIDEO WINDOW ein Programm mit je einer neuen Arbeit der Schweizer Künstlerinnen Nicole Bachmann und Johanna Kotlaris: There are Tides in the Body und Humere. Bei den unterschiedlichen Werken handelt es sich um eine collagenähnliche Komposition kurzer Szenen dreier Performerinnen um das Thema Migration, gefolgt von einem mythologiehaften Epos einer fiktiven Zombie-Heldin als Musicalfilm. Beiden Videos gemeinsam ist die metaphorische Präsenz des fluiden Elements Wasser.
Under the title Moving Water, Bodies & Souls, VIDEO WINDOW presents a programme featuring a new work each by Swiss artists Nicole Bachmann and Johanna Kotlaris: There are Tides in the Body and Humere. The two distinct works comprise a collage-like composition of short scenes by three performers exploring the theme of migration, followed by a mythological epic about a fictional zombie-heroine presented as a musical film. Common to both videos is the metaphorical presence of the fluid element of water.
