VIDEO WINDOW is making its first appearance at the nationally renowned Off-space lokal-int in Biel/Bienne, showing INVISIBLE (2022) by the well-known video artist Peter Aerschmann from Bern. Following its presentation at the Musée d'art et d'histoire in Neuchâtel in 2022, the work shines out onto the street as a room-filling installation, inviting passers-by to pause and to take a look.

Peter Aerschmann
*1969 in Fribourg, lives and works in Bern.

Since graduating in 1999 from the Bern Academy of the Arts, Peter Aerschmann has been working as an artist in the fields of video, photography and interactive systems. He began pioneering the use of digital technology during the transition from the analogue to the digital age. He composes his works on the computer and presents them in exhibitions on a wide variety of monitors or as room installations using beamer projections. Today, Peter Aerschmann is one of Switzerland's most prominent media artists.
